CEASA is involved in projects that support the work of teachers and associations in South Australia.
The Australian Curriculum Initiative (ACI) was born in 2012 in response to a need by teachers, especially those in regional/rural areas to understand all aspects of the new Australian Curricuum.
A pilot workshop, combining three associations (SAETA, HTASA and GTASA) is being held on Nov 5th in Pt Augusta.
The Middle Years Professional Learning Project involves associations, sectors and universities and has a focus on supporting Middle Years teachers and students and phase 1 subjects.
The AITSL/APTA project, Promoting Professional Learning Project will help teachers connect the National Professional Standards for Teachers with real examples for their classrooms.
The 'Choosing to Read' project in Adelaide's northern schools uses a model of mentoring and expert subject knowledge to work with teachers and students in their classrooms. It supports leaders in their quest for whole school change.
