CEASA Website

The CEASA website is YOUR association's website. We encourage your association to use it to promote activities through:

  • Updating your 'association page' regularly online, especially after your AGM
  • Adding your professional learning events at anytime to the CEASA online calendar
  • Emailing us a group of photos and associated comments for the CEASA Gallery

Feedback

Here is a positive comment from an association president on 16 Dec 2011 about the CEASA website:

"I was very pleased yesterday to have an enquiry for a course we are trying to run, dependent on numbers. This person enrolled right away and had found out about us/the course due to your website!!"

Powerful search optimisation features on the CEASA site allow your association and events to be found easily through Google and other types of search engines.

Updating Your 'Association Page' on the CEASA site

  • Updating manually: Associations can send in the following completed association website information form and logo, picture for the 'side bar', to the CEASA Office. We will update your information for you, preferably directly after your AGM.
  • Updating online: Alternatively, you can login using your username and password and add/change information as needed, but especially after your AGM. It is advisable that this is the responsibility of only 1-2 people on your committee. Use these website editing instructions to help you.
  • Here is an example association page, complete with logo and 'side bar' photo and a link to a 'gallery' of photos. Click on 'find out more' in 'about us'.
  • 'Side bar' photos are best in 'portrait' dimensions. Logos are best in square or landscape dimensions, but not too wide. All should be saved as individual jpeg files, less than 100k in size each.

Adding Events to the CEASA Calendar

  • There are two key deadlines in 2012 for adding events to the CEASA calendar:
    • 15th June 2012
    • 30th November 2012
  • If an association has information forms for each event to CEASA by these dates, they will be entered on the large, colourful, hard copy calendar to be distributed to all schools and education institutions in the state - for either Terms 1 & 2 or Terms 3 & 4. They will also be entered on the online calendar.
  • An association can enter events anytime onto the CEASA online calendar. Use these website editing instructions to enter your own events.
  • Here is an example professional learning event. Events can be saved to your personal online calendar, Facebook and Twitter by clicking on the appropriate icon. The event details can also be quickly emailed to someone you know through clicking on the 'mail envelope' icon. The green 'Book Now' button can either link to your 'association page' on the CEASA site or to your own site and registration form.

Adding Photos to the CEASA Gallery

  • Wanting to 'show off' an event to educators or other associations? Send a group of photos, each with an associated comment, to the CEASA office. Give your event an attractive title.
  • Make sure that each photo is a jpeg file and less than 100k in size. Photos can be portrait or landscape in dimension.
  • The CEASA office will make a 'gallery' of photos for you.
  • The link to this gallery can be shared with others to publicise your association and events.
  • Here are some example galleries.

Gmail addresses

Associations need to have a gmail account in order for CEASA to be notified of any changes made to the CEASA website. The gmail account will only be used as a 'username' for logging in to the CEASA website and does not have to be used as the association's official email address. In order to reduce your association's workload, CEASA is offering assistance in setting up the gmail account, however permission is needed from a representative from your association.

Please fill out and send back the permission form below to the CEASA Office as soon as possible.
