CEASA provides direct funding to CEASA member associations to support the development and delivery of their professional learning projects. This funding represents a major proportion of the total funding received by CEASA from the Department of Education and Child Development under our current contract with The Minister, which runs from July 2012 until June 2013.
It is expected that projects will link with the DECD Strategic Plan 2012-2016 and focus on DECD priority professional learning areas:
Professional Learning Funding in 2013
The 2013 funding application for CEASA affiliated associations can be accessed through contacting the CEASA office. The PDF form will be emailed to you and you must complete it electronically and then email it to CEASA at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will require Adobe Acrobat (not Adobe Reader) in order to complete the PDF form. If you are having difficuties with this, please contact the CEASA office.
The new form reflects new national priorities and CEASA is holding a session on Wednesday 13th February at 5.30pm to assist applicants in understanding the new requirements.
The maximum grant that will be approved for any one project will be $2,000 for ‘one-off’ events and $6000 for events/activities that make up a series, or sequence of smaller events over an extended period of time that help ‘embed’ the learning.
Any association applying for funding in 2013 must have completed and submitted a satisfactory final report for 2012 funding if they received funding in that year.
