| About Us |
The Australian Guidance and Counselling Association is a professional association that provides leadership and support to its members in educational guidance and counselling. The AGCA has over a thousand members across Australia who work in school settings as school psychologists, guidance officers and school counsellors. The association was formed in 1991. The association developed the Teaching Prosocial Behaviour to Adolescents project and managed the MindMatters Plus project and developing associated resources. The AGCA organises biennial conferences. The AGCA SA is the local chapter of the national organisation. |
