The South Australian Science Teachers Association was formed on 4 May 1951 with the following objectives.
- To promote and support the teaching of science in schools.
- To foster the professional development of science teachers.
Members receive 7 newsletters, 2 SASTA Journals and 4 ASTA Journals ‘Teaching Science’ each year and opportunities to participate in professional development activities at discounted rates. |
