CEASA President Speech

This speech was given by CEASA President, Rick Baldock at the beginning of the night.

Association Awards

This year's World Teachers Day event was held at the Education Development Centre, Hindmarsh at 6.15pm on Friday 28th October. We were delighted to have Minister Grace Portolesi attend the event and present 50 association awards including:

NATIONAL AWARD WINNER: Pru Mitchell, School Library Association of SA (SLASA) - ASLA Citation 2011. Read Pru's response.

 

CEASA Awards

There were also three overall CEASA awards presented by Mr David White, CEO of Credit Union SA and Minister Portolesi:

EARLY CAREER TEACHER AWARD WINNER: Jenni Lester, Australian Society for Music Education (ASME), and teacher at Peterborough High School

INNOVATIVE ASSOCIATION AWARD WINNER: PMA (Primary Maths Association) Lisa Jane O'Connor, president.

TEACHER SUPPORTING TEACHER AWARD WINNER: Catherine Emmerson, Japanese Language Teachers Association (JLTASA), and teacher at Hallett Cove School.
