Professional Development	ACHPER- The Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation is the professional teaching association that supports HPE teachers and plays a crucial role advocating for active and healthy living. ACHPER advocate for greater support for Health & Physical Education and remain active responding to critical issues and promoting the importance of our crucial learning area. ACHPER provides up to date information on strategies, research, policy formation and projects aimed at creating community awareness about a healthy lifestyle. ACHPER (SA) facilitates a range of conferences and seminars on physical education, sport, physical activity, recreation and health related topics. ACHPER (SA) can facilitate tailored professional development activities and school specific programs, through our experienced presenters and links with academics and organisation bodies.
