(membership forms will be available on the night if non-members wish to join. $55 per annum).
The Information Session will include:
• Feedback from 2011 English as a Second Language/English as a Second Language Studies moderation and assessment
• Focus on the relationship between performance standards, assessment design criteria and assessment task design
• Advice on assessment plans and themes/topics
All teachers, particularly those new to teaching ESL subjects and ESL students are encouraged to attend this session
Facilitated by Lynette Bellwood (EAL Consultant, CESA) and Mei French (ESL Coordinator, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College. Both Lynette and Mei are members of the SACE Standards and Leadership team for the Stage 2 ESL subjects.
Light refreshments and certificates of attendance will be available.
