The School of Education of the University of Adelaide has been offering teacher education and facilitating educational research in Adelaide for over 120 years. It offers a range of undergraduate and graduate teacher qualifications from bachelor to doctorate and has a particular focus in the areas of Science, Maths and Technology. In line with national priorities including curriculum and pedagogical reform, VET sector training, languages development and Indigenous Education, the School of Education is exploring new areas of research, scholarship and teaching.

Offering a comprehensive selection of teaching programs from first year to doctorate level, the School of Education at Flinders University attracts many local, interstate and international students. As well as dedicated teacher education programs, the School also offers programs where education is the focus of study, such as a Bachelor of Arts. The School has a strong focus on research, which contributes to its Honours Program, and features scholars with international reputations amongst its academic staff.

UniSA’s School of Education offers high quality, innovative undergraduate and post-graduate education programs spanning early childhood to adult education, as well as a range of research higher degrees. Academic staff are involved in a number of research projects encompassing the full scope of teaching policy and practice. The School also offers the Anangu Tertiary Education Program (AnTEP) to Anangu students living in the APY lands in the north-west and Yalata on the west coast of South Australia, as well asOak Valley in the Maralinga Tjarutja Lands.

Head of School: Frank Davies
Tabor’s School of Education currently offers three undergraduate and three graduate teaching programs with graduates accredited to teach in both state and independent schools. The School also offers the Master of Education as a professional development and research program for education professionals. Pre-service teachers will undergo professional experience in schools from the first semester of their studies, developing from observers to practitioners as their studies progress under the close supervision of supervisors or mentors.
