The School of Education of the University of Adelaide has been offering teacher education and facilitating educational research in Adelaide for over 120 years. UniSA’s School of Education offers high quality, innovative undergraduate and post-graduate education programs spanning early childhood to adult education, as well as a range of research higher degrees. Academic staff are involved in a number of research projects encompassing the full scope of teaching policy and practice. Tabor’s School of Education currently offers three undergraduate and three graduate teaching programs with graduates accredited to teach in both state and independent schools. The School also offers the Master of Education as a professional development and research program for education professionals. Pre-service teachers will undergo professional experience in schools from the first semester of their studies, developing from observers to practitioners as their studies progress under the close supervision of supervisors or mentors.
