Literacy Courses
CEASA manages registrations for the Department of Education and Children's
Services Literacy courses. Click on the appropriate course below for further information:
- Teaching ESL Students in Mainstream Classrooms - 9 modules [Registration Form]
The next course at the Education Development Centre will commence on 22 July 2010
- Update:
A TESMC course with a Maths/Science focus has been scheduled to commence in Term 3 this year. Go to the information flyer for more information and dates.
- Language and Literacy: Classroom applications of functional grammar -
9 modules. Unfortunately the newly developed course is not ready to be delivered in 2010. Anyone interested in undertaking this course in 2011should email CEASA to express interest.
- Teaching ESL New Arrivals - new course relevant for all teachers of ESL new arrival students in New Arrivals Program centres and/or in mainstream classes [Registration Form].
A course will bescheduled to commence as soon as possible - commencement is dependent upon number of participants. Anyone interested in attending the next course should complete a registration form and forward it to CEASA - it will be processed as an Expression of Interest and people will be notified of details.
