Child Protection Curriculum

Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum Training

It is important that all educators have accessed the professional learning program that supports the implementation of the materials before delivering the Keeping Safe curriculum. A database of all teachers who have been trained since 2006 is kept by Curriculum Services, and can be used to track the training status of staff. Site leaders can find out about the training status of an educator by contacting Curriculum Services - DECD.

The Council of Education Associations of South Australia (CEASA) administers the professional learning program that supports the implementation of the materials.

Dates for training in Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum that CEASA has arranged for 2012 are as follows:

  • Thursday 15 March 2012
  • Monday 28th May 2012
  • Friday 13th July 2012
  • Friday 10th September 2012
