(formerly known as “Mandatory Notification”)
CEASA is a DECD-approved provider of Responding to Abuse and Neglect Training and runs full-day (7 hour) courses for individuals who have never previously done the training or whose certificates have expired. These courses are held in the Education Development Centre in Hindmarsh. Please note that although every effort is made by CEASA to regularly update registration forms on this website, we are unable to guarantee the availability of places in any given training session.
Download the 2012 full day training registration form which includes the scheduled course dates, venue information and payment options.
The next RAN-EC update will be released in March 2012 as an online learning program.
Participants will need to undertake the course on an individual basis. They can log on as many times as they wish and the program retains their progress. It also generates a certificate on completion.
Once all members of an education or care site have completed the course, site leaders will facilitate further professional development relevant to the needs of their site and its community. This professional development activity is separate to the individual meeting the update training requirement.
By March 5 site leaders will be able to download all the information they need to facilitate their site's 2012 update training from this web address.
